The unique character of the EQUITONE [lunara] is underlined by a random-looking, non-repeating surface structure. Thanks to the special production process no two panels are alike - each façade is unique. Like each of EQUITONE's material innovations, the new fibre cement panel was tailor-made and created in cooperation with a selected international team of architects.
A specially developed production process gives rise to the extraordinary look and feel, emphasising the originality of the fibre cement material and at the same time giving the EQUITONE [lunara] a unique character within the EQUITONE family. The solid-coloured façade panels are also characterised by surfaces and edges of identical colours, thus forming a consistent and unmistakable aesthetic throughout.
EQUITONE [lunara] façade panels are made of pressed fibre cement hardened under steam pressure, and they mainly consist of air, water, cement, cellulose and fibres. Thus, the panels, which are non-combustible according to EN 13501-1:2018, guarantee a frost-resistant, water-impermeable and rot-proof surface. They are suitable for rear-ventilated curtain façades on all building types and heights and can be easily and simply mounted on wooden or metal substructures using tried and tested fastening systems.
